Refund Eligibility

Refunds to the original form of payment are available only for items from the following designers:

Lenovia
May Queen
Royal Queen
Layla K
Eva USA

All eligible refunds are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refunds are issued only after the returned item passes inspection. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Exchanges or Store Credit for Other Returns

For items not eligible for refunds, we are happy to offer exchanges or store credit
Exchanges: No restocking fee, limited to one per original order. Not sure about sizing? Please contact us with your measurements.
Store Credit: Issued as a digital gift card, equal to the purchase price minus a 10% restocking fee, expires 5 years from the date of issuance. Store credit cannot be refunded and will remain store credit.
Items received through an exchange or store credit are considered Final Sale.

Return Timeline

Approved returns must be shipped back within 14 days of approval. Any return sent after this timeframe will be rejected and returned at the customer’s expense

International Orders

International orders are Final Sale unless we sent the incorrect item.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping and all returned items must be:

In new, unworn condition
With original tags attached and in original packaging
Free from any damage, stains, odors, or alterations

The returned items that do not meet these requirements will be returned at your expense.

Gift Card & Store Credit Terms

1. Validity and Expiration

All gift cards and store credits issued by Formal Dress Shops Inc. are valid for five (5) years from the date of issuance or the date funds were last added. Any remaining balance will expire after this period.

2. Purchase Disclosure

Expiration details are provided at the time of issuance and included in the purchase confirmation.

3. No Extensions or Reissues

Except where required by law, expired gift cards or store credits will not be extended or reissued.

4. Lost or Stolen Cards

FormalDressShops.com is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards or store credit balances.

5. Use of Funds

Gift cards and store credits may only be used toward purchases at FormalDressShops.com and are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.

6. Legal Compliance

This policy complies with applicable laws, including California law, which allows gift cards and store credits to remain valid for up to five years.

7. Policy Changes

FormalDressShops.com reserves the right to amend or update these terms at any time. Changes become effective once posted on our website.
